Erddruck-Tunnelbohrmaschinen (EPB TBMs) werden beim Bau von Eisenbahntunneln, U-Bahn-Systemen, Autobahntunneln und anderen Projekten eingesetzt, bei denen der Tunnel entweder teilweise oder vollst\u00e4ndig in weichem Boden gebaut wird.<\/p>\r\n

Bei vielen Tunnelbauprojekten f\u00e4llt eine gro\u00dfe Menge an Schlamm an. Bohrschmiermittel auf Bentonitbasis, Schmiersch\u00e4ume und andere Additive werden verwendet, um den Druck auf das Deckgebirge aufrechtzuerhalten und die Reibung an den gro\u00dfen rotierenden Schneidk\u00f6pfen an der Vorderseite der Tunnelbohrmaschinen zu verringern.<\/p>\r\n
