El tema ha sido comentado por el Ministro de Medio Ambiente y Cambio Clim\u00e1tico de Ontario, Glen Murray, quien describi\u00f3 el problema como una \u201ccuesti\u00f3n seria\u201d en la \u201ccima de las preocupaciones ambientales y econ\u00f3micas\u201d en Ontario.<\/p>\n<p>Los fluidos de perforaci\u00f3n residuales generados a partir de la perforaci\u00f3n direccional horizontal (HDD) o la exploraci\u00f3n de petr\u00f3leo y gas rara vez reciben la consideraci\u00f3n adecuada en los proyectos de perforaci\u00f3n y a menudo se consideran simplemente un mal necesario.
