Un tema com\u00fan de esta actividad: nuevas regulaciones, directrices y aplicaci\u00f3n de la ley por parte de jurisdicciones de toda Am\u00e9rica del Norte.<\/p>\n<p>En Alberta, Environment and Parks considera que la pulpa de la operaci\u00f3n de hidroexcavaci\u00f3n es un residuo seg\u00fan la Parte 3, Secci\u00f3n 23(1) del Reglamento de Control de Residuos 192\/1996. <em>Ley de Protecci\u00f3n y Mejoramiento del Medio Ambiente<\/em>. La normativa siempre estuvo vigente pero ahora se est\u00e1 aplicando su cumplimiento. Este material residual solo debe depositarse en una instalaci\u00f3n de gesti\u00f3n de residuos autorizada de acuerdo con el <em>Acto<\/em> y este Reglamento.<\/p>\n<p>De manera similar, en Ontario, el MOECC ha implementado un marco para la gesti\u00f3n de suelos excesivos, incluidas las corrientes de desechos de lodos, como lodos de hidroexcavaci\u00f3n, fluidos de perforaci\u00f3n HDD y recortes. La gesti\u00f3n de estos lodos bajo el marco abordar\u00e1 el vertido ilegal y mitigar\u00e1 el riesgo potencial para la salud humana. Los municipios fuera de los centros urbanos m\u00e1s grandes han estado lidiando con este problema durante a\u00f1os.
