Utilizando MF003, fue posible solidificar lodos con agua libre en hasta 30 minutos, lo que permiti\u00f3 el manejo y la disposici\u00f3n segura de los residuos.<\/em><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left; font-size: 24px; font-weight: bold; color: #f36c21; margin-top: 30px;\">El desaf\u00edo de la gesti\u00f3n de residuos en proyectos de perforaci\u00f3n horizontal dirigida<\/h2>\n<p>Como es habitual en las operaciones de HDD, el proceso genera grandes vol\u00famenes de lodo resultante de la mezcla de tierra excavada, fluido de perforaci\u00f3n y agua. Cuando este residuo a\u00fan contiene agua libre, debe ser completamente solidificado para su correcta disposici\u00f3n debido al riesgo de lixiviaci\u00f3n durante el transporte en v\u00edas p\u00fablicas, lo que puede generar preocupaciones ambientales y regulatorias.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-167815\" src=\"https:\/\/www.metaflotech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Logo-MF003.svg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Antes de implementar MF003, la empresa responsable del proyecto utilizaba un m\u00e9todo alternativo para convertir los residuos de perforaci\u00f3n en un material s\u00f3lido. Sin embargo, el proceso no era lo suficientemente eficiente.<\/p>\n<p>Para permitir su eliminaci\u00f3n, fue necesario incorporar entre 100% y 200% de tierra seca al material, tras lo cual se llev\u00f3 a cabo un periodo de secado de hasta una semana. Este procedimiento ralentiz\u00f3 el proceso, aument\u00f3 el volumen final de residuos y elev\u00f3 considerablemente los costes log\u00edsticos.<\/p>\n<p>Buscando una soluci\u00f3n m\u00e1s eficiente para garantizar el progreso del proyecto, el Departamento de Medio Ambiente responsable de la operaci\u00f3n opt\u00f3 por aplicar el MF003, un producto ambientalmente seguro que permite la r\u00e1pida solidificaci\u00f3n de lodos, elimina los riesgos de lixiviaci\u00f3n y permite una correcta disposici\u00f3n de los residuos.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left; font-size: 24px; font-weight: bold; color: #f36c21; margin-top: 30px;\">\u00bfC\u00f3mo se solidific\u00f3 la pasta de HDD?<\/h2>\n<p>Antes de su aplicaci\u00f3n, se calcul\u00f3 y ajust\u00f3 la dosis del reactivo de solidificaci\u00f3n MF003 en funci\u00f3n del contenido de humedad de la lechada generada durante la operaci\u00f3n, alcanzando un valor de hasta 0,75% para un volumen de 6,5 m\u00b3 de material.<\/p>\n<p>Una vez definida la dosis adecuada, el MF003 se aplic\u00f3 directamente a la pulpa generada por la operaci\u00f3n de HDD.<\/p>\n<p>Para incorporar el reactivo al material, se utiliz\u00f3 la excavadora disponible en la obra para mezclar el producto con la lechada hasta lograr una homogeneizaci\u00f3n completa.<\/p>\n<p>En 30 minutos, el agua libre presente en el material fue absorbida, transformando el residuo en un material s\u00f3lido y apilable. Esto elimin\u00f3 el riesgo de lixiviaci\u00f3n y permiti\u00f3 su manipulaci\u00f3n, transporte y disposici\u00f3n final segura y conforme a las normativas medioambientales.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-687657\" font-weight: bold; color: #f36c21; margin-top: 30px;\">Volumen final de residuos<\/h2>\n<p>Una de las principales mejoras en la eficiencia que se obtienen al solidificar los lodos de HDD con MF003 es que se elimina la necesidad de a\u00f1adir grandes vol\u00famenes de tierra seca, utilizando dosis tan bajas como 0,75%.<\/p>\n<p>Estas bajas dosis de producto resultan en un volumen final de residuos significativamente reducido en comparaci\u00f3n con los m\u00e9todos tradicionales.<\/p>\n<p>En la pr\u00e1ctica, esto significa:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left; color: #f36c21;\"><strong>se
