Avec de fortes pluies r\u00e9guli\u00e8res et 600 camions y passant quotidiennement, la route en sol argilo-sableux a subi un grave impact structurel et a n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 un entretien et une main-d'\u0153uvre constants. Le rev\u00eatement \u00e9tant impossible sur des terres autochtones, une autre solution \u00e9tait n\u00e9cessaire pour augmenter la densit\u00e9, la stabilit\u00e9 et le compactage de la surface.<\/p>\n

Solution<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Pour rem\u00e9dier \u00e0 ces probl\u00e8mes, MetaFLO a appliqu\u00e9 0,021 TP3T de biopolym\u00e8re SoilTech sur une piste de 200 \u00d7 12 \u00d7 0,3 m\u00b3, d\u00e9montrant ainsi le potentiel de cette technologie pour la stabilisation des routes. Lorsqu\u2019il est dilu\u00e9 directement dans un camion-citerne et appliqu\u00e9 sur la piste, SoilTech se lie au sol pour former un hydrogel, tout en am\u00e9liorant les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s m\u00e9caniques du sol apr\u00e8s durcissement. Le sol trait\u00e9 a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 une densit\u00e9 massique accrue, un meilleur compactage, une stabilisation renforc\u00e9e des couches et une imperm\u00e9abilit\u00e9 am\u00e9lior\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

L'utilisation de SoilTech a permis de r\u00e9duire de 27% la consommation de carburant et les \u00e9missions de gaz polluants, tout en \u00e9conomisant 2 heures de main-d'\u0153uvre. Les \u00e9conomies totales ont presque divis\u00e9 par deux le co\u00fbt du projet (46%).<\/p>\n

L'utilisation de SoilTech \u00e0 la place des m\u00e9thodes traditionnelles a permis d'\u00e9conomiser 40 000 litres d'eau, r\u00e9duisant ainsi la consommation d'eau de 50%.<\/p>\n
