Ces \u00e9tangs ont \u00e9t\u00e9 am\u00e9nag\u00e9s dans les zones r\u00e9sidentielles et commerciales pour g\u00e9rer l'eau et capturer les particules de d\u00e9bris provenant de la fonte des neiges et des pluies. La plupart de ces s\u00e9diments sont constitu\u00e9s de sable, de limon et d'argile provenant de l'\u00e9rosion de surface, mais ils peuvent \u00e9galement contenir d'autres constituants moins respectueux de l'homme, tels que des hydrocarbures et du sel. L'\u00e9tang agit comme un filtre pour emp\u00eacher ces d\u00e9bris de p\u00e9n\u00e9trer dans nos syst\u00e8mes d'eau naturels et a un impact positif sur l'\u00e9rosion en ralentissant le volume et la vitesse de l'eau provenant des surfaces imperm\u00e9ables.<\/p>\n<p>L'entretien permanent est la cl\u00e9 du succ\u00e8s de cet outil de gestion passive de l'eau. Si on laisse les s\u00e9diments s'accumuler dans le bassin et qu'on ne les enl\u00e8ve pas \u00e0 intervalles r\u00e9guliers, le bassin d'orage ne peut plus fonctionner comme il a \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7u.<\/p>\n<p><strong>C'est l\u00e0 que MetaFLO peut vous aider.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les s\u00e9diments qui se sont accumul\u00e9s dans le bassin d'orage au fil du temps ont une consistance fluide et semblable \u00e0 celle d'une boue.
