I lubrificanti di perforazione a base di bentonite, le schiume lubrificanti e altri additivi vengono utilizzati per mantenere la pressione sul sovraccarico e ridurre l'attrito sulle grandi teste di taglio rotanti situate nella parte anteriore delle frese per tunnel.<\/p>\n<p>La quantit\u00e0 di lubrificante utilizzata dipende dalla geologia attraversata.
