Sia le Nazioni Unite che l'Organizzazione Internazionale per le Migrazioni stimano che ogni settimana circa 3 milioni di persone si trasferiscono nelle citt\u00e0.<\/p>\n<p>Ciascuna giurisdizione ha le proprie priorit\u00e0 di sviluppo, ma esistono elementi comuni universali per la costruzione di gallerie sotterranee:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>L'espansione del transito per rispondere alle realt\u00e0 di densificazione urbana, alla produttivit\u00e0 del posto di lavoro e ai criteri di emissione urbana.<\/li>\n<li>Garantire la circolazione dell'acqua e delle acque reflue all'interno e all'esterno dei centri abitati per sostituire e potenziare le infrastrutture obsolete, rispondere alle esigenze di crescita urbana e mitigare l'impatto dei cambiamenti climatici.<\/li>\n<li>Requisiti commerciali per il flusso di beni e servizi in entrata e in uscita dalle aree congestionate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>La tecnologia innovativa ha ampliato notevolmente l'applicazione del tunnel:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Il miglioramento dell'analisi geotecnica consente una migliore comprensione delle condizioni del terreno<\/li>\n<li>I rivestimenti in calcestruzzo consentono una migliore stabilizzazione della parete del foro e una maggiore sicurezza.<\/li>\n<li>I sensori identificano gli ostacoli per una migliore efficienza e per ridurre i danni alle infrastrutture esistenti.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A seconda delle condizioni del terreno, il terreno rimosso dalla galleria pu\u00f2 essere piuttosto liquido.
