Questi bacini sono stati realizzati nelle aree residenziali e commerciali come strumento per gestire l'acqua e catturare i detriti particellari derivanti dallo scioglimento della neve e dagli eventi piovosi. La maggior parte di questi sedimenti \u00e8 costituita da sabbia, limo e argilla provenienti dall'erosione superficiale, ma pu\u00f2 includere anche altri componenti meno gradevoli per l'uomo, come idrocarburi e sale. Il laghetto agisce come un filtro per evitare che questi detriti finiscano nei nostri sistemi idrici naturali e ha un impatto positivo sull'erosione, rallentando il volume e la velocit\u00e0 dell'acqua proveniente dalle superfici impervie.<\/p>\n<p>La manutenzione continua \u00e8 la chiave del successo di questo strumento di gestione passiva delle acque. Se i sedimenti si accumulano nel laghetto e non vengono rimossi a intervalli regolari, il laghetto per le acque meteoriche non pu\u00f2 pi\u00f9 funzionare come era stato progettato.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00c8 qui che MetaFLO pu\u00f2 aiutare.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I sedimenti che si sono riempiti nel tempo nel bacino di raccolta delle acque piovane hanno una consistenza fluida e simile al fango.
