Essas lagoas foram projetadas em \u00e1reas residenciais e comerciais como uma ferramenta para gerenciar a \u00e1gua e capturar detritos particulados do derretimento da neve e dos eventos de chuva. A maior parte desse sedimento \u00e9 areia, silte e argila provenientes da eros\u00e3o da superf\u00edcie, mas tamb\u00e9m pode incluir outros componentes menos amig\u00e1veis ao homem, como hidrocarbonetos e sal. A lagoa atua como um filtro para evitar que esses detritos entrem em nossos sistemas h\u00eddricos naturais e tem um impacto positivo sobre a eros\u00e3o ao reduzir o volume e a velocidade da \u00e1gua proveniente de \u00e1reas de superf\u00edcie imperme\u00e1veis.<\/p>\n<p>A manuten\u00e7\u00e3o cont\u00ednua \u00e9 a chave para o sucesso dessa ferramenta passiva de gerenciamento de \u00e1gua. Se os sedimentos se acumularem na lagoa e n\u00e3o forem removidos em intervalos regulares, a lagoa de \u00e1guas pluviais n\u00e3o poder\u00e1 mais funcionar como foi projetada.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00c9 nesse ponto que o MetaFLO pode ajudar.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>O sedimento que encheu o tanque de \u00e1guas pluviais ao longo do tempo tem uma consist\u00eancia fluida e semelhante a lodo. Esse sedimento pode ser tratado com dosagens muito baixas de reagente de solidifica\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 base de pol\u00edmero para mudar a consist\u00eancia do sedimento para uma textura mais parecida com a do solo. Esse material seco pode ent\u00e3o ser facilmente escavado em caminh\u00f5es basculantes e removido do local do lago.
