Uma das principais d\u00favidas entre as mineradoras, \u00e9 se o biopol\u00edmero pode interferir na cin\u00e9tica ou na efici\u00eancia da adsor\u00e7\u00e3o do ouro pelo carv\u00e3o ativado.<\/p>\n<p>Essa preocupa\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 comum porque muitos profissionais associam pol\u00edmeros a materiais viscosos, capazes de recobrir superf\u00edcies e, potencialmente, reduzir a capacidade de adsor\u00e7\u00e3o do carv\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>Para responder a essa quest\u00e3o, apresentamos os resultados de um estudo realizado para avaliar se a presen\u00e7a do biopol\u00edmero ExtracTech interfere na cin\u00e9tica ou na efici\u00eancia da adsor\u00e7\u00e3o de ouro pelo carv\u00e3o ativado, utilizando tanto carv\u00e3o ativado novo quanto carv\u00e3o regenerado.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.metaflotech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Logo-4.svg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-167781\" src=\"https:\/\/www.metaflotech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Logo-4.svg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"450\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Como foi avaliada a influ\u00eancia do ExtracTech na adsor\u00e7\u00e3o pelo carv\u00e3o ativado<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><strong>Objetivo do estudo<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>O objetivo do estudo foi provar que o ExtracTech ao ser utilizado como aditivo na lixivia\u00e7\u00e3o do ouro n\u00e3o apresenta impacto negativo sobre a cin\u00e9tica ou na efici\u00eancia da adsor\u00e7\u00e3o de ouro pelo carv\u00e3o ativado.<\/p>\n<p>Para isso, foram avaliadas duas condi\u00e7\u00f5es frequentemente encontradas nas opera\u00e7\u00f5es de minera\u00e7\u00e3o:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Carv\u00e3o novo;<\/li>\n<li>Carv\u00e3o regenerado.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Como o teste foi realizado<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Foi realizado o teste de cin\u00e9tica de adsor\u00e7\u00e3o de ouro utilizando uma solu\u00e7\u00e3o padr\u00e3o contendo 10 ppm de ouro, permitindo avaliar especificamente a intera\u00e7\u00e3o entre o ExtracTech e o carv\u00e3o ativado novo e o regenerado.<\/p>\n<p>Cada condi\u00e7\u00e3o experimental foi realizada em duplicata, totalizando:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 testes do sistema controle (Tal Qual);<\/li>\n<li>2 testes utilizando ExtracTech.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Os resultados apresentados neste artigo correspondem \u00e0 m\u00e9dia dos ensaios.<\/p>\n<p>As principais condi\u00e7\u00f5es experimentais foram:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Solu\u00e7\u00e3o padr\u00e3o contendo 10 ppm de ouro;<\/li>\n<li>Volume de solu\u00e7\u00e3o: 1 litro;<\/li>\n<li>pH de aproximadamente 10,2;<\/li>\n<li>Concentra\u00e7\u00e3o de 240 ppm de NaCN;<\/li>\n<li>Agita\u00e7\u00e3o cont\u00ednua;<\/li>\n<li>Amostragens ap\u00f3s 1, 2, 4, 8, 16 e 24 horas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Durante o estudo foram avaliados:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A cin\u00e9tica de adsor\u00e7\u00e3o do ouro;<\/li>\n<li>A efici\u00eancia de adsor\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Resultados utilizando carv\u00e3o ativado novo<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>A primeira etapa da avalia\u00e7\u00e3o foi realizada utilizando carv\u00e3o ativado novo.<\/p>\n<p>Os resultados mostraram que a presen\u00e7a do ExtracTech n\u00e3o alterou a cin\u00e9tica de adsor\u00e7\u00e3o do ouro em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao sistema controle. Desde a primeira hora de avalia\u00e7\u00e3o, ambos os sistemas apresentaram efici\u00eancia de adsor\u00e7\u00e3o superior a 94%, ultrapassando 99% ao final do estudo.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Table 1. Apesar da variabilidade esperada para esse tipo de avalia\u00e7\u00e3o, o sistema contendo o biopol\u00edmero manteve desempenho equivalente ou ligeiramente superior ao controle durante o estudo e encerrou a avalia\u00e7\u00e3o com um percentual m\u00e9dio de adsor\u00e7\u00e3o em torno de 6% superior ao observado no sistema controle.<\/p>\n<p>Em conjunto, esses resultados demonstram que o ExtracTech preserva a efici\u00eancia da adsor\u00e7\u00e3o pelo carv\u00e3o ativado e, nas condi\u00e7\u00f5es avaliadas, apresentou desempenho equivalente ou ligeiramente superior ao sistema convencional.
